For the fifth edition of the Ecoprod Award, the non-profit initiative Ecoprod has put together a prestigious jury t<\/strong>hat will be in charge of choosing the films that demonstrate a strong commitment to green production. The jury will be assessing how the candidates achieved to reduce the carbon impact of their production, manage energy consumption, protect biodiversity, limit waste and favor more sustainable set construction practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exceptional and dedicated jury<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The jury consists of renowned personalities from both the film industry and the field of sustainability, reflecting the diversity of the expertise necessary to evaluate a production\u2019s environmental commitment. Its composition fully portrays the dialogue between creation and ecological responsibility, at the heart of the values supported by the Ecoprod Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abOn a film shoot we are all joining forces to make the best possible movie. <\/em>On a sustainable film shoot, we really become a team. <\/em><\/strong>Green production starts with simple actions – replacing plastic bottles with reusable bottles, sharing rides to reduce transportation, rethinking the catering – and all of a sudden, teamwork is not only a nice idea, it becomes reality. It creates a feeling of shared power, a more sensitive and tangible approach. Less waste, more connexions. Maybe this even comes across on screen?<\/em>\u00bb <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aure Atika<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Actress and writer <\/strong>Aure Atika can currently be seen in cinemas in the film \u201cA place for her\u201d by Melissa Godet. She started her career with the film \u201cWould I lie to you?\u201d and has since then been acting both in independent auteur <\/em>films (\u201cPoetical Refugee\u201d <\/em>by Abdellatif Kechiche, that won the Luigi De Laurentiis Award at the Venice Film Festival for best first film, \u201c<\/em>The Beat That My Heart Skipped\u201d by Jacques Audiard, \u201cCopacabana\u201d<\/em>, alongside Isabelle Huppert or \u201cMademoiselle Chambon\u201d<\/em> for which she was nominated for the best supporting actress Cesar) and in more commercial movies (\u201cHey good looking\u201d, \u201cOSS 117\u201d<\/em>). Her first novel \u201cMon ciel et ma terre\u201d<\/em>, published at Fayard in 2017, was awarded the Audience Award of La Coupole. In 2025, she joined the casting of the series \u201cBelph\u00e9gor<\/em>\u201d for HBO Max, in the role of Elise Wagner. Her long-standing environmental commitment led her to participate in the first episode of the environmental podcast of French newspaper Lib\u00e9ration \u201cLe Fil Vert\u201d that takes it audience on the ground to meet those who are taking concrete action to protect the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury also includes Philip Boeffard, <\/strong>producer and co-founder of Nord-Ouest Films, Gwladys Bouillon-Pacheco, <\/strong>green production coordinator and co-president of the association ACCEPTE, Cl\u00e9mentine Buren<\/strong>, impact producer and Ecoprod-certified sustainability consultant for the PAC Group that produces both commercials and feature films through their various labels (LA\\PAC, PAC FILMS, LE\\PAC, VERY\/CONTENT, 2001), Mamadou Dembele<\/strong>, founder of the digital media outlet Impact Story that focuses on positive journalism, Vincent Munier<\/strong>, photographer and documentary filmmaker, he directed \u201cThe velvet queen\u201d <\/em>(2021) and \u201cWhispering in the woods\u201d (2025), for which he both won the Cesar for best documentary, Jean-Philippe Lefevre<\/strong>, Director of Community Engagement at WWF France, partner of this year’s Ecoprod Award, and Muriel Signouret<\/strong>, CSR director of SNCF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entries are open from Thursday, April 9th, to May 1st<\/a>, all featured films presented at the Cannes Film Festival (all categories combined) can apply. To apply for the Award, candidates need to specify as precisely as possible the sustainable actions that were carried out during the production of their film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
