Synopsis: On 15 January 2004, the Bugaled Breizh sank suddenly off the English coast, killing the five French sailors on board. On that day, NATO exercises were being prepared in that maritime area... The sinking, as sudden as it was unexplained, sent shockwaves through the victims’ families. Faced with a legal system they could not comprehend and the feeling that the authorities were concealing the reasons for the sinking, Marie, the sister-in-law of one of the victims, became their spokesperson and rallied the seafaring community in a long quest for the truth. Her meeting with the families’ lawyer will draw her into the murky waters of the investigation, where the recurring shadow of a submarine looms, and will change her life forever.
