Synopsis: As the director of a nursing home, Marie-Lou strives to implement an innovative care philosophy centered on listening to residents and respecting their dignity, despite resistance from some of her staff. Her encounter with Mari, a Japanese theater director battling cancer, will change the course of her life. As they form a deep friendship, the two women will transform the facility into a symbol of resilience and humanity.
