The Cofiloisirs – Ecoprod 2025 Grants, designed to provide financial support to production companies committed to eco-responsible practices, were awarded at a ceremony held at the Grand Palais in Paris, as part of ChangeNOW, an internationally renowned event dedicated to the ecological transition.

The Cofiloisirs–Ecoprod Grant, totalling €500,000, is an innovative financial support scheme for eco-friendly audiovisual projects. Cofiloisirs, a long-standing player in film and audiovisual financing, is thus committed to helping its clients adopt sustainable production practices.

A scheme based on the high standards of the Ecoprod Label

The awarding of the Cofiloisirs – Ecoprod Grants is based exclusively on the Ecoprod Label. Supported by ADEME and audited by the independent third-party body AFNOR Certification, the Ecoprod Label is based on a set of 85 criteria designed to reduce the environmental impact of audiovisual, film or advertising productions. Each criterion is weighted according to its relative importance, enabling the calculation of an overall result expressed as a percentage, known as the eco-score. The higher the eco-score, the better the production’s environmental performance.

Every year for five years, the Cofiloisirs – Ecoprod Awards recognise productions funded by Cofiloisirs and certified with the highest eco-scores. Each winner receives a grant of €20,000.

The 2025 winners

The winners of this first edition of the Cofiloisirs – Ecoprod Awards are:

  • Banijay Studios France for the series Désenchantées (broadcast on France 2);
  • Bonne Pioche Story for the series Brigade Anonyme – season 2 (broadcast on M6);
  • Les Films du Fleuve for the feature film Jeunes Mères (broadcast on cinema);
  • My Box Content for the series Bref – season 2 (broadcast on Disney+);
  • UGC Images for three productions tied: Master Crimes – season 3 (Mam Fiction, broadcast on TF1), Recalé – season 1 (Itinéraire Productions, broadcast on Netflix) and the feature film Ceux qui comptent (Les Films du 24, broadcast on cinema).

“It is particularly encouraging to see a major financial player making a concrete commitment to support productions that wish to adopt eco-friendly practices. This grant represents recognition of our commitment. And we will reinvest it in our eco-production initiatives to continue transforming our production methods,” explains Yorick Kalbache (Executive Director of Film and Series Production at UGC).

Denis Campion (Managing Director of Cofiloisirs), for his part, is delighted by the diversity of the recipients of the Cofiloisirs – Ecoprod Grant: “We were delighted to see that the five most eco-friendly projects included both TV series and feature films, as well as productions from major studios and independent companies. The success of this first edition should encourage other applicants to try for our grant next year.”
