Feature films in all selections and competitions are eligible for the Ecoprod Award at the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
Application deadline: May 1st
- Fill out the application form, describing your green production strategy and the concrete actions implemented
- Include supporting documents showcasing your commitment (carbon assessment, certification, sustainability roadmap, photos, etc.)
- Your application will be reviewed by our prestigious jury — to be announced soon — who will present the award on May 15th during the Cannes Film Festival.
For the fifth time, at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, Ecoprod will shine a spotlight on the teams, artists, productions, and technicians committed to reducing their films’ environmental impact. Its ambition is to rally professionals around green production initiatives and increase public awareness around sustainability. The award also sends a strong message to the industry: artistic creation and environmental responsibility can—and must—go hand in hand.
The ceremony will take place on May 15th in Cannes on WWF France’s sailing boat, the Blue Panda.
